Lower North East Road roadworks notice
This important upgrade will improve pedestrian safety and accessibility for ARC members, visitors and the broader Community.
We thank the Community for its patience and cooperation while these important pedestrian safety improvements are delivered.
When will works be undertaken?
Works are scheduled to commence from Sunday 9 August 2026 until late October 2026, weather permitting:
- Day works: 9 am and 2 pm
- Night works: 7 pm to 6 am.
To minimise traffic impacts during peak hours, a significant portion of the works will be undertaken at night.
How this affects you
To safely undertake these works, speed and lane restrictions will be in place. Speed restrictions will remain in place outside of working hours until project completion. Please plan your trips, exercise caution around workers, and follow directional signage.
Access to properties and businesses will be maintained. Advance notice will be provided from The Department for Infrastructure and Transport if temporary access restrictions are required.
