Senior Citizen of the Year
Ms Kathy Pfeiffer

Ms Kathy Pfeiffer 2025 Senior Citizen of the Year Award Winner

Kathy never tires of helping the Community. On any given day she is out helping someone, somewhere.

Kathy volunteers for the Council as a part of the Home Support Program, at the Moonlight Markets, letter box dropping, at the Community Orchard and as a part of the Fruit Crew. Kathy provides transport help every Friday, where she is committed to getting members of the Community to their appointments, helping with shopping whilst giving friendship, encouragement and a listening ear to these people. She never refuses a letter box drop for the Council often requested at the last minute and she's out posting pamphlets at 6:30 am to fit it in her day. She is always at the Community Orchard on Volunteer days and makes extra trips for additional watering or putting the green bins out.

Kathy also volunteers in the Community at the Campbelltown Repair Cafe, helps at the Campbelltown Kindergarten, makes clothes for under privileged children overseas and regularly donates plasma with the Red Cross.

Any group or person Kathy works with has benefited by her friendship, help, untiring efforts and wonderful personality. Everything she does is helping in some way for the Community.
