Campbelltown Repair Café

A Repair Café is a place where you take your broken household items to be fixed by skilled volunteer repairers. Repair Cafés are also meeting places, which is where the 'café' bit comes in!

Council worked with community members to set up the Campbelltown Repair Café in 2020. It is now an independent group that is run entirely by volunteers.

When and where?

The Campbelltown Repair Café is held monthly alongside Magill Sunrise Markets.

Every 2nd Sunday of the month (excluding May and December)
9:30 am to 2 pm (registration of items closes at 1:30 pm)
Campbelltown Memorial Oval, Corner Lower North East Road and Darley Road, Paradise

What items can I bring for repair?

The types of repairs available on the day will depend on volunteer repairer skills and availability, but may include:

  • Textiles and clothing
  • Wooden items
  • Tool sharpening
  • Mechanical and bicycles
  • Jewellery
  • Software repairs
  • Locks and safes

Check the Repair Café Campbelltown Facebook page to find out which volunteer repairers will be available on the day.

What else do I need to know?

  • Ensure your broken items are washed and clean.
  • Repair Cafés are free, but donations are welcome to help keep the Repair Café operating. Donations help to cover costs of things like glue, thread, and extension cords.
  • No bookings are required. Simply bring your broken items to the registration desk on the day.
