Public health
The Eastern Health Authority (EHA) provides public and environmental health services for the cities of Campbelltown, Burnside, Norwood Payneham and St Peters, Prospect and the Town of Walkerville.
EHA services include:
- Immunisation
- public clinics and childhood immunisation programs
- school based vaccinations
- workplace vaccinations
- Public health management
- inspection of public swimming pools, supported residential facilities, and water and waste systems in commercial buildings
- monitoring personal grooming, body art and health care businesses
- investigation of complaints about public health including pests and vermin, hoarding and squalor, and other issues
- Food safety
- support for new food businesses with legislation requirements
- inspection of food businesses, food trucks and events in our area
- investigation of complaints about food services, including food poisoning
- Supported residential facilities
- support with licences for businesses
EHA staff provide direct support to our businesses and residents for these and other matters.
