Heritage sites
The City of Campbelltown Heritage Survey (1996) was financed with the assistance the South Australian Government, via the State Heritage Fund. A total of 106 places of architectural or historical interest were identified in the survey, including 4 places on the State Heritage Register, and 1 place nominated for the State Heritage Register. Some of the places identified in the 1996 survey have since been substantially altered or demolished.
As part of Council’s 2017/2018 Annual Business Plan, Council undertook a project to promote local heritage sites in the area. Council has installed bronze plaques on the footpath adjacent to local heritage sites.
