Lochend House

Facility type: Tourist Attraction

Lochend house is located on Lochend Drive in the Lochiel Park Estate in Campbelltown, and was the original home of Charles James Fox Campbell, after whom Campbelltown is named.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, the home has been redecorated internally to represent a rural house circa 1850s. The home is owned in trust by the City of Campbelltown, as a place of State Heritage significance.

The Campbelltown Historical Society takes great pride in opening the house to the public on the first Sunday of every even month from 2pm-4pm. Volunteers provide visitors with information about the history of the house and the six year restoration process.
