Joining generations

Published 18th August 2026
Congratulations to everyone involved in the successful completion of the second Joining Generations intergenerational program held at Charles Campbell College this year.

Inspired by the ABC series Old People's Home for Teenagers, the program brings together older residents from Campbelltown and students from the College to foster meaningful connections, share experiences and learn from one another.

This valued partnership between Campbelltown City Council, Charles Campbell College, ACH Group, Community Housing Limited and the Adelaide University is led by local Magill resident and retired principal Brian Harris, together with Charles Campbell College Pastoral Care Worker Katie Rogers.

We sincerely thank all participants, facilitators and partner organisations for their contribution to the program. Your enthusiasm, generosity and willingness to connect across generations continue to strengthen our community and create lasting relationships.
