Creating our Community Heart

Published 29th September 2025
Consultation is now open on the proposed development of a Campbelltown Community Hub at 172 Montacute Road, Rostrevor.

Three options are being considered:

  • Option A: A new Council Office
  • Option B: Option A, plus a Performing Arts Centre (PAC)
  • Option C: Option B, plus a Vibrant Precinct and Residential Development.

If you are a Council resident, you will receive a consultation pack in your letterbox to make it easy for you to provide feedback. The pack will contain details about each option, including how you can get involved and participate in the consultation.

There will also be information sessions that Council will be holding during October where you can learn more about the options.

Don’t want to wait for your hard copy to be delivered? Further details and a survey are available at connect2.campbelltown.sa.gov.au/CCH.

Consultation closed 4 pm, Monday 3 November 2025.

Information to be considered if you’re planning to attend the Council Meeting on Tuesday 16 December.

Council will be considering the outcomes of the recent Community Heart community consultation at next week’s meeting. Council welcomes you to attend and hear the discussion. If you’re planning to attend, here’s some information to assist you on the night:

A confidential item adjourned from the last meeting must legally be dealt with at the start of this meeting. After Public Question Time, the public will be asked to leave the Chamber while this item is completed. You’ll be invited back in once it’s finished, with deputations to follow shortly after.

13 deputations will be presented before Council begins discussion on the consultation report. Each deputation involves one individual presenting to Council for up to 5 minutes, followed by time for questions.

Seats in the Council Chamber will be reserved for deputation speakers, with any remaining seats open to the public.

Additional public seating will be available in the Meeting Rooms 1 and 2.  If the Meeting Rooms reach capacity, more seating will be available in the Function Centre at the rear of the Council office building.

The meeting will be livestreamed into the Meeting Rooms and the Function Centre.
