Industrial Precinct Business signage has been installed at the Newton and Magill Industrial Precincts to:

• create a coordinated and consistent signage scheme throughout the City;
• encourage elimination of proliferation of 'sandwich panel' boards, red and white signpost blades, and other unsightly and/or unauthorised signs;
• ensure that signage is properly maintained thus projecting a positive image;
• assist in fulfilling business needs in directing customers to their premises.

Council invites individual businesses to list their business name on the signage via a leasing agreement. The business name will be printed in uniform colour and font, with corporate colours and logos not being permitted.

Council has endorsed an annual lease fee of $100 plus GST per annum for businesses to include their name on the signage. As part of Council’s COVID-19 Response, these fees will be waived until 30 June 2023.

Campbelltown City Council will agree to:

• Maintain the sign throughout the Lease Agreement period.
• If the business sign is destroyed or damaged, making it structurally unsafe or substantially unfit to support the name sign, then Council will reinstate the sign or, alternatively this Agreement will be terminated and the Business will be given a refund of the fee, based upon the unexpired period for which the fee has been paid.
• Any alterations to the wording by a business are to be submitted in writing and approved by Council and a fee will be charged.
• Council has the right to remove the sign if underutilised, giving businesses 14 days notice and a refund pro rata.

The Business will agree to:

• Pay $100 plus GST per annum for the duration of the business signage being displayed.
• FEE WAIVER: COVID-19 Response
  As part of Council’s COVID-19 Response, lease fees for the Industrial Precinct Business signs will be waived until 30 June 2023. There will be no cost to have a business name on a sign until 30 June 2023.
• The Council will invoice the Business $100 plus GST per annum from 1 July 2023 unless the Business requests in writing to have their name removed. At least one (1) months’ notice is required.
• The Business may terminate this Agreement at any time by giving at least one (1) months’ notice in writing. In this event any fee paid is non-refundable.
• Should the Business cease trading from the location identified on the sign, then the business name will be removed. In this event any fee paid is non-refundable.
