Be Part of the Climate Solution

Mitigation

With recent climate changes being largely caused by an increase in heat-trapping greenhouse gas emissions resulting from human activities, it’s important to reduce our emissions as much and as fast as possible.

In 2020/2021, the City collectively emitted an estimated 192,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent (TCO2-e) in greenhouse gas emissions. Among these, electricity usage, transport, natural gas, and waste accounted for the top emission sources.
