Additional Kerbside Bins

Residents can apply to have an additional kerbside bin (blue landfill bin, yellow recycling bin and/or green organics bin) where exceptional circumstances can be demonstrated. Applications must be made annually and charges may apply.

Additional Dogs

In accordance with Council's By-Law 5 - Dogs 2016, up to two dogs can be kept on a residential property without a permit. Additional dogs may be kept if a permit is successfully obtained from Council. All dogs must be registered.

Temporary Occupation of Council Land

Permission must be obtained from Council to temporarily occupy council land, for example with skip bins, containers, temporary fencing, building materials or scaffolding. Public Liability insurance is required and applications must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the proposed occupation date.

Mobile Food Vending

Council are committed to supporting local business and recognise that mobile food vendors can add to the vibrancy of our city.

Under Section 222 of the Local Government Act 1999, mobile food businesses must apply for a Mobile Food Vending Permit in order to operate on a public road within the City of Campbelltown. Permits can be obtained for a period of 1 month, 6 months or 12 months. Charges apply.

If you wish to operate a mobile vending business at a Council Park or facility, please contact the Team Leader of Administration & Regulation on 8366 9262.

If you want to register interest in operating a mobile food business at Council events, please contact our Events Co-ordinator on 8366 9209.

Any mobile food vending business operating within the City of Campbelltown need to notify the Eastern Health Authority (EHA) and meet all the relevant food safety standards. Please contact EHA on 8132 3600 or https://www.eha.sa.gov.au/

Outdoor Dining

In accordance with Council’s Outdoor Dining Policy, business wishing to use Council land for the purpose of outdoor dining require a permit.
