Situated across St Bernards Road from the University of South Australia Magill campus, Nightingale Reserve is a great space set along Third Creek. The shaded playground, BBQs, picnic area, toilets, arts pieces along walking trails, and tennis courts that are free for the public to use makes this a great reserve to spend a morning or afternoon. The playground is suitable for school aged children and pre-schoolers who are confident climbers.

There is an interpretive trail through the reserve that documents the early history of the Magill area.
