Dr Geeta Trehan

Geeta is a specialist General Practitioner and experienced medical educator, with fellowships of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Her practice is based in Campbelltown with specialties in geriatrics and chronic diseases.
Geeta and her husband and sons migrated to Australia from India in 2004. The decision to leave her country was not an easy one as she was providing healthcare to underprivileged sections of the community. The decision to migrate was prompted by the desire to give her children a safer and more secure future.
Geeta spent more than 10 years as a surgeon, but general practice is now her niche, providing her with opportunities to provide better lives for her patients.
