Anna Leombruno
"Never doubt yourself, you can do more than you think you can."
Anna‘s grandparents migrated to South Australia from Italy in the early 1950s, where the family established a market garden in Athelstone. Anna has created a long career in the Insurance industry and in 2003, was awarded the inaugural ‘People’s Choice Award Regional Winner’ in South Australia for outstanding achievement in the Insurance industry.
In 2010, Anna was elected as Councillor for the Campbelltown Council, and has remained a committed member of the Council ever since. She has been a member of, and chaired, several committees and in 2011, was awarded the inaugural Grace Benny Award for women in Local Government.
Anna is the representative for the eastern Councils on GAROC (Greater Adelaide Regional Organisation of Councils) and is also the President of the Campbelltown Historical Society Inc. In 2017 she received her Diploma in Local Government and in 2020 was recognised for her 10 years of Service to Local Government.
