Campbelltown Pizza Festival
From Italy, the phenomenon of pizza-making and appreciation for this specialty cuisine has spread to Australia.
The humble Pizza has welcomed new ingredients, new recipes and adapted itself to the taste of Italians from region to region.
Following the massive Italian migration to Australia during the 20th century and particularly to Campbelltown South Australia, the opening of many pizzerias ensured that the pizza did not take long to conquer the taste buds of the Australians.
The 2015 Campbelltown Pizza Festival will be held from the 1 - 31 July in pizza venues throughout the City of Campbelltown. The pizzeria venues included in this festival represent a strong commitment to authenticity and extremely high quality, while following the authentic way of making pizza.
