Melville Grove Reserve in Hectorville has some fantastic farm themed play equipment including a tractor with a trailer that doubles as a slippery dip and a windmill climbing structure. The reserve also has a picnic setting, sun beds, a small grassed area to play and a drink fountain.
Known as 'the secret playground', this reserve is accessible only via laneways from Hectorville Road or Melville Grove.
Melville Grove Reserve Mural Project
Decorating the laneways are a series of murals were created by community members working with local artist James Parker over a two day workshop at the Campbelltown ArtHouse in April 2019. James Parker also painted the laneway path hopscotch and the rock art was commissioned by ceramic artist Tania Kunze.
