Geocaching

Do you want to find local hidden treasure in Campbelltown?

Geocaching is a FREE outdoor treasure hunt, where thousands of containers (called caches) are hidden around the world, including family friendly ones in Campbelltown. Caches can be found using a GPS or Smartphone. The activity is a lot of fun and a great way to explore parks and places in the area! Suitable for families and children of all ages.

GPS units are now available for free hire from the Campbelltown Library for members.

Be Active Toy Library

The aim of the be active toy library is to provide equipment for loan to families and children that then help create fun family friendly sport and physical activity opportunities.     

Where: Campbelltown Toy Library, 171 Montacute Road Newton

Who: Families and children up to 12 years old

When: Available now

Cost: $ 21 annual toy library membership fee (for new members) or FREE for existing members 

 
 
 
 
 
Opal School Holiday Scavenger Hunt Activity:

Scavenger hunts are a free activity for your family to do either in your very own backyard OR in one of the many parks and places in Campbelltown! You can download the activity sheet from Opal Scavenger Hunt Document(404 kb) and start exploring, finding and collecting natural elements.  Nature play encourages children to enjoy outdoor play, develop a positive attitude towards nature and enables mental / physical wellbeing. The Pocket Guide to Outside(652 kb) provides 20 local parks and playgrounds in Campbelltown to explore your very own scavenger items.
