The two married in Altavilla Irpina in chiesa Di Santa Maria Assunta on 24 October 1954. Their first child Sabatino, was born in Altavilla Irpina on 31 October 1955.

Vincenzo parted from Atlavilla Irpina to emigrate to Australia via the Napoli port on a Ship (Surriento). He arrived in Adelaide, South Australia waters on 19 April 1956, where here, by contract, he had a job with W Bert Baulderstone, that today carries the name of Balderstone Horbrook. He continued to work there as a joiner and carpenter, till his retirement in 1990 as a valued and respected member of the company. (Which is still acknowledged by many ex and current employees). While all the time working there he thought about his family.

Seventeen months later his wife and son parted from the Napoli port on the ship 'Roma' that arrived in Australia on 17 May 1957.

After two years they had their second child Carlo at the Queen Victoria hospital on 24 January 1961. After another five years, another girl was born, Anna Pia, on 25 May 1966.

All four children married, and Vincenzo now has eleven grandchildren. All are residents in Adelaide, South Australia.
