GRAZIANO, Antonio

Antonio Graziano was born in the Italian town of San Giorgio La Molara on the 12 August 1929. In 1958 at the age of 29 years he left the port of Naples and spent 20 days aboard the Nepatunia sailing for the port of Melbourne.

Taking the train directly after docking and meeting one of two brothers, Romolo in Campbelltown where they lived together. Going straight into his old trade of carpentry, working on houses then taking work of tree cutting in the country and finishing his working career in the Readymix quarry.

The younger brother Guiseppe later came across to join his two brothers in a new life at the age of 12.

His wife Clelia Graziano followed the same path, aboard the Marconia leaving Italy in 1965 aged 30 arriving by train in Adelaide and one year later giving birth to the first of three boys, Micheal born 1966, Fabrizio 1967 and Vincenzo 1973, all were born and raised in Campbelltown.

Antonio and Clelia still live in Campbelltown today.
