Left Napoli on the ship 'Surriento' on 29 August 1953 and arrived in Melbourne, Australia 29 September 1953 at the age of 27.

Worked at first in the South East of SA, then settled in Adelaide on 28 March 1954.

Joined 2 years later by his family on 19 April 1956.
