The late Mr and Mrs Cannizzaro lived at 63 Gorge Road, Paradise and then later Caterina moved to the Italian Village until she passed away.

The two sons Joe and Pat had taken up property in the Two Wells and Gawler River areas in 1956 and continued to produce vegetables mainly potatoes and onions. Joe married Violanda Russo in 1964 and Pat married Shirley Masters in 1986. One interesting advertisement in the local paper by Captain Durazzano was that he would not be responsible for any debts incurred by members of his crew.
