Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is a South Australian Police (SAPOL) community based crime prevention program aimed at minimising crime.  It is about safety in places where people live and local police and communities working together to create safer suburbs and towns in SA.  By having a link with local police, residents are kept informed of emerging crime trends, new scams and changes in laws etc. Further information can be found at

There are seven Neighbourhood Watch groups located within the Campbelltown Council area.   All these groups rely on volunteers to deliver newsletters and also to serve as committee members (Area Coordinator, Secretary, Treasurer and Newsletter Editor).

Become a volunteer with your local Neighbourhood Watch

If you would like to volunteer your time to deliver newsletters or become a committee member, our local Neighbourhood Watch groups would love to hear from you.  The level of commitment required varies, however, newsletter delivery is approximately an hour or two per month. If you love walking and getting out in the fresh air, this could be a job for you.

Depending on the group, committee meetings are held monthly, bi-monthly or sometimes quarterly and run for approximately one hour.

If you would like more information or to become involved, please contact the relevant contact below.
