Lochiel Park Community Garden

Lochiel Park Community Garden is a membership garden where we grow vegetables, herbs and fruit in a sustainable way.

Produce is grown individually by members who lease a small plot or communally. Membership of the garden is open to anyone in 'reasonable walking distance' of the garden (to reduce food miles). You don't have to have a plot in order to become a member, but you do have to be a member before you are entitled to a plot.  Please contact us about plot availability.

The current annual membership fee is $25 per household, payable on 1 April each year. The current seasonal plot fee is also $25, payable on both 1 April and 1 October (the beginning of each growing season) each year. Working bees are held monthly, with other opportunities to become involved also available.
