Visitors to the 2013 Campbelltown Art Show and Sale will be treated to a kaleidoscope of water colours, acrylics, oil pastels, sketches, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples art and pottery. The show is a joint initiative of the City ofCampbelltown Counciland the Rotary Club of Campbelltown and this year promises to be bigger than ever. The art show has been an annual event since 1984, and since it’s inception 1000’s of artists have entered the competition over the years.
This year 600 works of art have been entered and will be judged by Andris Jansens and John Tiplady (Paintings), Josephine Robinson (Porcelain Art), Bruce Nuske (Pottery) and Ivan Copley (Aboriginal and Islander Peoples Art)
Convenor Scott Nichols of the Campbelltown Rotary Club says “We are very fortunate that the art show is sponsored by a large number of local businesses and community groups and we anticipate that the event will draw thousands of people“ he said.
