Current Development Plan Amendments

Campbelltown City Council Draft Residential Development Plan Amendment

Council consulted on the draft Residential Development Plan Amendment (DPA) at the end of 2012 and written submissions were received and a  public meeting was held on January 29 to hear those that wished to make a verbal submission.

Pursuant to section 25 (13) of the Development Act 1993 Council staff then prepared a report on all of the matters raised during the consultation period and any recommended alterations to the proposed amendment.

At the Council meeting on the 16 April 2013 the feedback from the consultation was presented to Council and they resolved to make a few amendments in regard to the desired allotment size in the proposed Suburban Policy Area and in regard to desired building heights in the proposed Suburban Activity Node Zone and Urban Corridor Zone.

The draft DPA is now out for a further 3 weeks of consultation containing the adopted  changes from the consultation period and the subsequent Council meeting.

An information evening is also being held regarding the draft Residential Development Plan Amendment in the Council Chambers, 172 Montacute Road, Rostrevor at 7.30 pm on Monday 24 June 2013. For further information, see Invitation

Submissions received during this period will be collated and presented to Council at the meeting on 16 July 2013

The Council will then decide whether to proceed with the DPA and if they do it will be forwarded to the Minister for Planning for his consideration for approval. If the Minister approves the DPA the changes to the Development Plan will be published in the government gazette and will come in to effect from that date.
