Mattress and Base Collection

Campbelltown City Council offer a subsidised mattress and base collection to its residents.

As part of Council's hard waste strategy, in partnership with Sofacycle, all size mattresses and bases will be collected.

All items collected will be completely recycled and this process keeps thousands of tonnes of waste out of landfill each year.

Collections will take place every Monday (including public holidays) but due to high demand, the collection may not be completed until the following day so your patience is appreciated.

The cost for collection is $10.00 for the first item and $5.00 for each subsequent item.  For example, one mattress and one base is $15.00 (Plus GST).  Payment is to be made direct to Sofacycle on the day of collection.  If this is not possible, an invoice will be issued on the day payable directly to Sofacycle.

Items for collection must be placed within your property but visible from the road and not placed on the footpath or verge (if possible) by 7.00am on the morning of collection.

Illegal dumping is an offence which carries a penalty of $315.00.
