Hard Rubbish Collection Service

A residential-only Hard Rubbish Collection Service is provided by Council bi-annually.  The next collection service is scheduled for 2014.

Council offers a collection service of mattresses and bases through a subsidised collection with Sofacycle and a collection service of scrap metal and whitegoods through Denron Scrap Metal.

Other unwanted goods can be disposed of at Newton Transfer Station, Virginia Road, Newton for a fee.  If your items are in good condition perhaps consider contacting a local charity.
