Waste and Recycling

Kerbside Collection

Three Bin SystemCampbelltown City Council provides a 3-Bin Kerbside Waste Collection service through its contractor East Waste, that is at the forefront of environmentally responsible waste management.

Campbelltown's three-bin waste collection service includes:
  • A 140 litre bin with a blue lid for general household waste, collected weekly
  • A 240 litre bin with a yellow lid for recyclables, collected fortnightly
  • A green bin for green organics, collected on the alternate week to the recycling bin
Benefits of the waste collection service:
  • Providing a large recycling bin, accepting a wide variety of materials and removing the need to squash and bundle recyclables, makes it easy to recycle
  • Collecting green organics separately means garden waste can be turned into quality garden and nursery products such as compost and mulch
