Elected Member training dates

Intending Candidates may wish to take note of these traning sessions held after the election for those that are elected to Council:

  • CEO Briefing Session – 20 November 2018
  • Elected Member Residential Training Session – 30 November & 1 December 2018
  • First Council Meeting after the elections – 4 December 2018
  • CEO Briefing Session – 10 December 2018
  • CEO Briefing Session – 21 January 2019 (to be confirmed)

Copies of Voters Roll

Candidates will receive one free hard copy of the voters roll (for the election which you are contesting) after close of nominations (18 September).  Subsequent hard copies are available at the following cost to the candidate:

Reprint of Ward Voters Roll - $18.00 + $5.25 administration fee
Reprint of Mayoral Voters Roll - $53.00 + $5.25 administration fee

Election Complaints

Direct queries and complaints about the following to the Electoral Commission:

  • Service provided by Electoral Commission staff
  • Media matters
  • Candidate advertising
  • Late arrival or missing ballot papers
  • Election processes
