Programming Workshops

Ages 12+
Do you have an idea for a computer game or animation? Come along to our workshops and start programming using Scratch. Scratch makes it easy to program your own interactive stories and games and upload your projects to the Web. Scratch also controls motors and reacts to sensors so you can program games and devices that interact with the world.

When: Thursdays, 4-5pm. Runs for 8 weeks.
Where: Campbelltown Public Library, IT Suite.
Price: $40 for the entire course (8 hours)

In our early sessions we'll create this simple computer game. Click the green flag to start a game.
Move the wizard using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
Collect gold coins to increase your score. Avoid Trolls, they'll steal your gold.
Navigate to the green square to finish the game. How much gold can you escape with?
